"I started out on my own as “3D Computer Services” in 2001 after leaving my position as a software engineer in Nortel Networks. After completing my degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Queen’s University and working for both BT and Nortel here in Belfast, I realised that the ‘Big Company’ environment was not for me and I decided to become self-employed. 14 years later, with a large client base of repeat customers and frequent word-of-mouth referrals, it’s nice to know we must be doing something right!"

3D Computer services measures its success in the diversity of its current client base, and the high instance of repeat custom and personal referrals, which has proven significant to our growth during the last 18 months in particular. With this expansion have come changes in emphasis in the nature of business and specific areas of specialization. Whilst domestic customers remain integral to the continued success and future expansion of the company there have been particular commercial developments which were always envisaged as a priority within the business plan, and crucial to the long term success and growth of 3D Computer Services.
Networking, hardware and software support are now established core elements of the business. We provide IT systems support and network development for a number of clients, ranging from those with a relatively small technical base involving networking at and between commercial premises and home workers through to clients requiring scores of workstations networked and supported.
It has been our experience to date that specialized troubleshooting where others have failed to meet client’s needs, by solving the problem and providing practical permanent solutions is a strength of our company. We have through research, experience and determination demonstrated this commitment to provide the solution which applies to difficult technical issues essential to the provision of effective IT to companies.
A consequence of this ethic born of experience and a positive professional attitude is the continuance of many proven, successful and cost effective IT support arrangements with clients whom previously had had rather ineffective, costly and frustrating service provisions.
David insists on all business customers being able to have direct contact with him via mobile telephone so that he can co-ordinate response and ensure that customers receive the level of service they expect.
